"Facebook" back to the future!

Hmmmm about Facebook.....I actually found a couple of people that I graduated with many, many moons ago. It was fun to see what they were up to these days. Because of Facebook, a few gal friends and I are now communicating on a regular basis. Pretty cool.

Wikis are Wreery, Wreery Wonderful!

Once again I had fun with Web 2.0. This week I wikied my heart out with Orion Arising and Fiesty. We developed a rideshare wiki, a camping wiki and finally no doubt a fashion wiki. Can you guess whose wiki that was?

Sharing what we know about each subject was very fasinating and so easy to do. Looking forward to our next wiki together!

Oh Boy! I'm Goin to the Beach.....if I only had a cold one

FLICKR was fabulously fun. It took just only two times to get just the right picture to upload. But alas I did it. I wonder where this pic was taken......certainly not around here.

The Flickr site was easy to find many, many pictures and there were alot to choose from. So look for more fun filled fotos layin around on my blog.

Streaming Music Simply Rocks!!

I lovea, lovea, lovea it!! I can sit back and listen to my favorite music from the 70's and 80's like Styx, Supertramp, Journey, Foreigner and much, much more.

Now some of you youngsters like Fiesty Fashionista have never heard some of these songs before. So I encouraged her to listen to J and G's Mom's songlist and she did like what she heard. And she agreed it was a much nicer era of music to listen to than her own.

I had a blast choosing my songlist but only with a little help from my friends. Once again the Cardboard Queen came through with her guidance. She and I like the same music so it made it alot of fun!!!

RSS Feeds is RSS "Really Simple Stuff"

Another baby step was taken. I have introduced myself to the RSS world. After some reading and a bit of research, I know have 5 feeds set up; Seattle Mariner's and Seattle Seahawks breaking news; Seattle Times; Weather.com and Unshelved.

So you are probably wondering why I have an RSS feed for the Mariner's and Seahawk's. Is it because I want to hear how many times the Mariners have lost or which Seahawk player got arrested this week? Well to be honest with you, I am a huge sports fan for our Seattle teams and I have always stuck by them through thick and thin! It has been a little thin lately. Not much to say about the Sonics I am still a big fan of them and RSS!

Overall, setting up these feeds was fairly simple, however, I did need a magnifying glass at times to locate the RSS icon on some of the websites I was searching.

For starters I must say thanks to Ms. Feisty for chattin up with me using Instant Messaging. It was quite easy to get started but of course I had to beg for a small dose of assistance from Feisty. If anyone would like to IM some time just say the word.

I have arrived!

I think I have procrastinated long enough don't ya think? I was really excited about this whole process when I first learned of 20 for 2.0 however when it came right down to it I found myself holding back. After many weeks had passed, I heard all the buzz about this. With a little help from my friend the Cardboard Queen, she kicked me right where the sun doesn't shine and got me going. So here I am and I must say getting started was easier than I thought.
